  1. Take 2 lbs Pasta (I like Cavatappi or Rotelle)

  4. Prepare 3 Sticks Salted Butter
  5. Make ready 1 tsp Sea Salt
  6. Take Whole Milk
Instructions to make Baked Pasta & Cheese:
  1. Cook pasta according to directions in Salted water (cook Al dente) - drain
  2. Mix in butter
  3. Fold in half of the American Cheese
  4. Fold in the Cheddar
  5. Add milk and the rest of the American Cheese
  6. Once thoroughly blended, transfer to a sizeable baking dish (I use an aluminum half size steam table pan)
  7. Cover top of mixture with 12-16 additional Slices of American Cheese
  8. Bake in a 350 oven for 30-45 minutes until top is melted and starts to turn golden, not burned (time will depend on your oven)
  9. Serve hot and enjoy
